Botox
Treatment Methodology:
The procedure is quite simple, consisting of infiltrations at predetermined points of the facial region. By gently paralyzing the muscles, the wrinkles disappears for approximately 3-6 months.
The paralyzing effects of the toxin depends on the dose and occurs between 24 and 48 hours after inoculation, reaching the maximum effect between 7 and 15 days after the injection.
Treatment Zones:
Traditionally botox is applied in the upper third of the face to correct expression wrinkles that occurs in areas such as: between eyebrows, crow's feet and forehead wrinkles. But over time the botox application has evolved and now is also used to improve and embellish the overall look.
This improvements now allows for strategic retouching in other facial regions, by applying Botox (Boucouture® and Azzalure®) in combination with other products such as fillers, facial mesotherapy, collagen induction therapy among others, with the aim of correcting different aesthetic problems, such as:
Wrinkles of Expression - Upper Third of The Face
To correct these transverse and vertical lines Boucouture®, Vistabel® or Azzalure® infiltrations will relax the region muscles and reduce the power of glabella muscles (eyebrow area).
Axilar Hyperhidrosis, Hands and Feet
Excessive armpit, hands and feet sweating can be controlled with botulinum toxin for a period of 6-8 months.
